Apply for a state family pass
With the State Family Pass and the corresponding new annual voucher card, families can currently visit numerous state attractions such as castles, gardens and museums up to 119 times free of charge or at a reduced price and private attractions up to 69 times throughout Baden-Württemberg.
There are specially labelled vouchers on the voucher card that can be used for a one-off free or discounted visit to this facility.

- Mainau Island

Prerequisite
You can apply for a state family pass if you
- are registered with at least three children entitled to child benefit (these can also be foster or adopted children) with a primary residence, or
- are a single parent and are registered with at least one child entitled to child benefit as your primary residence, or
- are registered with at least one severely disabled child entitled to child benefit with at least 50 per cent reduction in earning capacity with their primary residence, or
- Are entitled to child supplement, housing benefit or basic income support and are registered with at least one child entitled to child benefit with their primary residence, or
- Receive benefits under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (AsylbLG) and are registered with at least one child as their primary residence.
Please note: The primary residence is decisive.
Procedure
You can apply for the regional family pass in person at your local authority. When the pass is issued, you will also receive the voucher card for the current calendar year.
